Why "Lucid Drumming?"

Lucid dreaming, as you may well be aware, is the idea that you can dream while being aware that you are dreaming. Why not take this concept to give greater understanding and awareness to what we do while we are awake? By thinking actively and carefully considering the purpose and context, any task can be performed "lucidly," with a person completely aware of what they are setting out to accomplish and in total control of their actions.
